Custom manufacturing
Manufactured to your specification
Most of what we make starts as a buyer's design. Send whatever you have, from a full tech pack to a sketch, and we turn it into an approved specification and a sealed sample before a metre of bulk fabric is cut.
What to send
Start with any of these
You don't need all of them. The more you send, the more accurate the first costing and the fewer sample rounds.
Tech pack
Measurements, construction, trims and tolerances we cost and sample against.
Reference sample
A garment we can take apart, measure and match, if you have no tech pack yet.
Sketch or flat
Enough to start a costing. We confirm construction details with you in writing.
Fabric specification
Composition, construction, weight and width, or a swatch we can analyse.
Measurement chart
Graded measurements per size, with points of measure and tolerances.
Pantone or colour standard
TCX/TPX references or a physical standard for lab dips.
Logo and artwork
Vector files for labels, embroidery, prints and packaging.
Branding requirements
Main label, size label, care label and hangtag specifications.
Packaging requirements
Folding method, polybag, carton marks, assortment and barcode rules.
How an order runs
Nine stages, each one signed off
Bulk production starts only after you approve the pre-production sample. That sample becomes the standard the order is inspected against.
Enquiry
You send a brief, tech pack or reference sample with target quantities and delivery window.
Technical review
We check construction, fabric and trims against what we can produce, and list open questions before costing.
Fabric development
We propose or develop the fabric: construction, weight, composition and finish. Lab dips are submitted for colour approval.
Sampling
A proto or fit sample is made to your measurements and sent for review with a measurement report.
Sample approval
Fit, fabric and colour comments are closed out. A pre-production sample is approved and sealed as the bulk standard.
Bulk production
Fabric is inspected, then cut, sewn and finished against the sealed sample and approved specification.
Quality inspection
Garments are checked in line and at the end of the line for measurements, workmanship and appearance.
Packing
Goods are folded, tagged, bagged and cartoned to your packing instructions and assortment.
Export
Commercial invoice, packing list and shipping documents are prepared and goods are handed to your forwarder or ours.
Fabric developed for the garment
We weave fabric in-house, so construction, weight and finish can be set for your product instead of chosen from stock.
Fabric developmentYour brand on every piece
Main labels, size and care labels, hangtags and packaging to your artwork, checked at final inspection.
Private labelBuilt for repeat orders
Patterns, specifications, sealed samples and fabric records are kept, so the next order matches the last.
OEM manufacturingCan you make custom colours?
Yes. Send a Pantone reference or a physical colour standard. Lab dips are submitted for approval before bulk dyeing.
Can you develop custom fabrics?
Yes. We can develop a fabric to your composition, construction, weight, width and finish, and submit a swatch or sample length for approval before bulk.
Can you manufacture from a reference sample?
Yes. Send the garment and tell us what to keep and what to change. We measure it, analyse the fabric and build a specification that you approve before sampling.
Can you handle repeat production?
Yes. Approved specifications, patterns, sealed samples and fabric records are kept so repeat orders are produced to the same standard.
Can you manufacture to buyer specifications?
Yes. Production is checked against your approved specification and the sealed pre-production sample, including measurements and tolerances, fabric, trims, labelling and packing.
Can I send my own tech pack?
Yes, and it is the fastest way to an accurate quotation. We review it for construction, measurements, fabric and trims and send back any open questions before costing.
