Woven apparel manufacturing for buyers in the European Union

Woven apparel and fabrics for brands in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and across the EU.

Brands in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and across the EU source woven garments and fabrics from Creston Apparel. EU rules are largely harmonised, with some national differences in language and retail practice.

Fibre labelling in the buyer’s language

Under Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011, textile products sold in the EU must be labelled with their fibre composition using the harmonised fibre names, in the official language of each member state where they are sold. Multi-language labels are common for brands selling across several countries. We print or weave labels to your artwork.

Restricted substances

REACH (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) restricts certain chemicals in textiles, including azo dyes that can release listed aromatic amines. Most EU brands work from a restricted substances list (RSL). Send yours with the enquiry; dyes, finishes and trims are then chosen against it, and testing is done at the laboratory you nominate.

Sizing

Continental sizing (for example 34–46 for womenswear, 44–56 for menswear) and centimetre-based specifications are standard. We grade to your size set and report measurements in your units.

Shipping and documents

Your importer needs an EU EORI number. We prepare the commercial invoice, packing list, transport document and any origin documentation your customs agent asks for.
