Woven apparel manufacturing for buyers in the United States
Woven garments and fabrics for US brands and retailers, with a US sales contact, inch-based specs and US labelling.
US brands and retailers work with Creston Apparel for woven shirts, bottoms, sleepwear and fabrics. This page covers what we plan for when goods are sold in the United States.
A US sales contact
You can reach our US sales contact during US business hours for enquiries, sampling updates and order follow-up. Contact details are on the contact page.
Specifications in inches
Most US tech packs give measurements in inches with fractional tolerances, for example ±1/4”. We work in your units throughout: patterns, measurement reports and inspection sheets use the same points of measure and tolerances as your specification.
Labelling for the US market
Apparel sold in the US generally needs:
- Fibre content by generic fibre name and percentage, under the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act.
- Country of origin, stating where the garment was made.
- The identity of the manufacturer or US dealer, by company name or RN number.
- Care instructions, under the FTC Care Labeling Rule.
Your compliance team sets the final wording. We produce labels to your artwork or apply the ones you supply, and check them at final inspection.
Children’s products
Children’s apparel sold in the US falls under CPSIA requirements, including tracking labels, and children’s sleepwear must meet specific flammability standards. Share your test plan and nominated laboratory at the enquiry stage so fabric and construction are chosen to pass.
Shipping and documents
Goods ship by sea or air through your forwarder or ours. For ocean shipments your customs broker files the Importer Security Filing (ISF) before loading; we provide the shipment data in time for it. Each shipment is documented with a commercial invoice, packing list and transport document, plus any certificates your importer requests.
